SAN FRANCISCO DUNGEON HOLDS “PRESENTS FOR PRISONERS” GIFT DRIVE
Fisherman’s Wharf attraction puts a cheeky twist on a beloved holiday tradition
SAN FRANCISCO, CA. DECEMBER 18, 2015 – Law-evading and shifty they may be, but it does not mean that the characters of the San Francisco Dungeon do not have heart! As host to an outsize group of ghastly (and ghostly) troublemakers and law enforcers from Alcatraz prison, the Dungeon’s rascally mainstays are quite empathetic to inmates locked up this holiday season. In the spirit of giving, they are opening a “Presents for Prisoners” gift drive for those shut up in the clink.
But the Dungeon crew is just as streetwise and wily as ever, and may have their own agenda when it comes to collecting presents for Bay Area prisoners – who knows what items might end up in the donation barrel? The Department of Corrections, with their strict guidelines on what goes in and out of prison walls, will have their work cut out for them when sorting through gifts sent by the Dungeon crew!
The Presents for Prisoners Gift Drive will run for only 7 days – December 18th to December 25th from 10am to 10pm during regular attraction hours at The San Francisco Dungeon, 145 Jefferson Street, San Francisco.
Visitors who bring items for the “Presents for Prisoners” gift drive will receive free admission to the attraction between December 15th and 25th. Whether guests bring a gift to delight or assist in escape, it’s a win-win with their free admission to the fun and crazy San Francisco Dungeon. Gifts will be collected at the SF Dungeon Box Office.
